We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Phone Sales Officer /Parts Interpreterto join our team. This is a hands-on role that combines customer service, phone sales, parts interpreting, counter sales and store operations.

Job Description

n

As the first point of contact for many of our customers, you'll play a key role in delivering outstanding service while supporting the branch's sales and operational activities.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Handling inbound phone sales enquiries and processing customer orders
n
- Identifying and interpreting automotive and auto electrical parts requirements
n
- Providing accurate pricing, product information and availability advice
n
- Assisting customers at the trade counter
n
- Building strong relationships with customers and supporting repeat business
n
- Following up quotations and sales opportunities
n
- Processing invoices, credits and returns (RMAs)
n
- Working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to achieve branch sales targets
n

Qualifications

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in phone sales, internal sales or customer service
n
- Parts interpreting experience, preferably within automotive,



auto electrical, truck or industrial products
n
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
n
- Good computer skills and experience using sales or inventory systems
n
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
n
- A proactive, team-oriented attitude
n
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a rapid-paced environment
n

Highly Regarded

n

n
- Auto electrical or automotive industry experience
n
- Knowledge of alternators, starters, batteries, lighting or related products
n
- Warehousing or inventory experience
n
- Forklift licence (or willingness to obtain)
n
