The Centre

At Guardian Freshwater, you'll find a warm and friendly team of passionate educators who value meaningful relationships. Our 80 place centre in Freshwater is rated exceeding in the National Quality Standard. Located close to Pittwater Road and with access to public transport, our long standing and culturally diverse team celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays each year. With a range of exciting, resource-rich environments including; beach-themed outdoor spaces, alfresco dining areas, and a range of age-specific ateliers. The passionate Educators enjoy taking the Children out and about on excursions to maintain the great connections with the surrounding community.

Your Role

n

As a Trainee, you will:

n

n
- Gain hands-on experience while studying,



with full course fees covered and an hourly wage for all hours worked.
n
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators.
n
- Assist in creating a safe and stimulating environment that supports the social, cultural, emotional, and educational needs of the children.
n
- Prepare play and learning materials, and collaborate with your team to enhance children's learning through intentional teaching and spontaneous play.
n

n

Requirements

n

n
- Genuine interest in a long-term career in Early Childhood Education.
n
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency.
n
- Commitment to an 12-month traineeship program.
n
- Willingness to obtain a Working with Children Check (WWCC NSW state).
n
- Willing to be full time
