The Opportunity

As a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks.

This is a casual role, helping our team on an ad-hoc basis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands! Evening and overnight availability is preferred.

Your Impact

- Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more.
- Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities such as driving them to appointments or light exercise.
- Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans.
- Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date.
- Follow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents.

What You'll Bring

- Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care, independence and wellbeing.
- Friendly, adaptable and proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment.
- Strong communication skills,



with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents.
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required).
- Valid driver's licence + vehicle (required).
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required).
