About our Role

n

Join the Barminco team as a Shotcrete Operator and support our underground mining operations across Australia, with opportunities available at sites throughout Western Australia. In this role, you'll play a key part in applyingand sprayingshotcrete to underground headings and excavations to provide immediate ground support in line with mine plans and safety standards.

Whatwillyour day to day look like?

n

Operate shotcrete spraying equipment to apply ground support in underground headings.

n

Prepare work areas, includinghydroscalingandfibrecreteasrequired.

n

Monitor shotcrete thickness, quality, and coverage to meet design specifications.

n

Conduct pre-start checks and basic maintenance on shotcrete plant and equipment.

n

Work closely with jumbo, charge-up, and service crews tomaintainsafe work sequences.

Our ideal candidate background includes

n

n




- Previous experience working as a Shotcrete Operator working in underground mining .
n
- Demonstrated ability to operate shotcrete spraying equipment (manual or robotic) .
n
- Knowledge of underground safety pr ocedures permits and exclusions zones .
n
- We welcome personnel from a tunnelling background from non-mining industries!
n
- Ability to meet all site access requirements (including, but not limited to, Medical, DAS, NPC & valid Manual Driver's Licence) .
