The most suitable applicant will demonstrate their applied knowledge, skills and experiences against these essential role requirements of the Individual contributor leadership stream: Experience and a demonstrated skill set for supervising and leading a team including supporting the Manager in the application of human resource management processes;Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, respond to new and unexpected events and appropriately escalate issues;Experience in the criminal justice setting including the interpretation and application of legislation,
policy and practice directives in an operational environment is preferable or alternatively possess a similar work experience that demonstrates your previous exposure to governed systems and an ability to rapidly acquire necessary knowledge;Demonstrated ability to maintain governance and oversight systems including using information to support service delivery and performance as well as to maintain effective quality assurance processes;Strong written and oral communication skills and an attention to detail in this regard including in the preparation of and completion of complex reports, for both internal and external stakeholders; andProven skills in staff engagement including coaching, mentoring and staff development as well as experience in conducting difficult conversations, negotiating resolutions and appropriately reporting issues and actions.
