Your Role
n
This is an exciting newly created role where you will play a key part in strengthening community connections and shaping place-based, person-led practice across Wagga Wagga and the surrounding community.
n
You will work closely with local teams, community leaders and partner organisations to build trust, amplify community voices and support community-led solutions. This role offers a rare chance to influence systems change while staying grounded in real community impact.
n
You will join a supportive, inclusive team that values collaboration, creativity and learning, and is committed to working alongside communities rather than doing things to or for them.

Your Responsibility
n
n
- Support the design and embedding of place-based, person-led practice
n
- Enable meaningful community participation and build organisational capability
n
- Strengthen co-design and participatory approaches in service design and innovation
n
- Facilitate collaboration across sectors to increase collective impact
n
- Translate community insights and evaluation into improved approaches and outcomes
n
n
You Will Need
n
n
- Experience in community development work
n
- NSW Driver's Licence
n
- Strong understanding of community development and asset-based approaches
n
- Experience working with people experiencing social exclusion, trauma, homelessness or unemployment
n
- Proven ability to coordinate and facilitate programs, activities and events for vulnerable groups
n
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
n
- Flexibility and adaptability in dynamic work environments
n
