The role
Anglican Schools across Australia are seeking Chaplains to care for the next generation. Positions are available with start dates in 2027 and 2028. Chaplains and Heads of Religious Studies play an integral and varied role in school life. Together with the Principal, they act as the spiritual leaders of the school, leading faith, reason, worship, inclusion, character, and service that express the Anglican identity of their schools.
Key responsibilities
- Provide spiritual leadership within the school community
- Lead faith, reason, worship, inclusion, character, and service aligned with Anglican identity
- Support the delivery of religious studies teaching
- Contribute to the overall pastoral and character development of students
Requirements
- Church of England or Anglican ordained or lay Chaplains
- Interest in relocating to Australia for school-based ministry
