What you will do

- Aseptic Services Leadership: Act as Deputy Accountable Pharmacist for aseptic services, supporting the delivery of high-quality pharmaceutical care.

- Specialist Practice: Utilise your expertise in aseptic pharmaceutical operations to maintain safe and effective services.

- Medication Management: Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to optimise medicines management and patient safety.
n
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure aseptic services comply with all relevant legislation, standards, and professional guidance.

- Quality Improvement: Lead and contribute to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient care and operational efficiency.

- Clinical Support: Provide specialist pharmacy advice and support to colleagues and healthcare professionals.

- Training and Development: Share knowledge and provide guidance to support the development of pharmacy team members.

- Governance: Promote best practice through effective clinical governance and risk management processes.

Qualifications / Requirements

- Pharmacy Qualification: Master's Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent recognised qualification.
n
- Registration: Current General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) registration.
n
- Experience: Significant experience working within aseptic pharmacy services.
n
- Leadership Skills: Experience working at a senior level within pharmacy services, including service development and governance.
n
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aseptic preparation, medicines optimisation, and pharmacy regulations.
n
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and multidisciplinary working abilities.

- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make informed decisions and drive continuous quality improvement.
