The Westpac SME sector is entering a period of growth, which means we have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Business Banking Manager to support our customers in Chatswood. In this role, you will manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients – business lending between $1M to $5M. Join us at our brand new, state‑of‑the‑art office at our Chatswood location!

What’s the role?

- Support a team of like‑minded professionals and manage a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
- Build genuine personal connections with customers and empower them to navigate the future.
- Use proactive networking, relationship management, deal writing, and client needs management.

Responsibilities

- Manage a portfolio of Small to Medium Enterprise customers, providing sales and service.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities proactively.
- Write deals and manage the customers’ needs while maintaining robust relationships.
- Ensure credit risk and compliance standards are met.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in business banking with solid lending knowledge.
- Good understanding of credit risk and compliance.
- Passion for going above and beyond your customers’ expectations of good service.




- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Ability to confidently and proactively target new business opportunities.
