About the Role
MSS Security is looking for Full time - Security Emergency Officers to join our team in Blackwater . This position is for local candidates residing in Blackwater or DIDO candidates.. As part of the Emergency Response Team, you will respond to security and emergency incidents, maintain a safe and secure environment, and support the effective resolution of onsite emergencies.
Duties
- Conduct foot patrols, welfare checks, and security escorts when required.
- Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, fire alarms, first Aid response and other emergency situations.
- Monitor site activities, enforce rules and report incidents and safety concerns.
- Inspect and maintain emergency response equipment and vehicles.
- Communicate professionally with residents, contractors, and site personnel while delivering excellent customer service.
Skills & Experience
- Full Australian Working Rights
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Class 1 QLD Security License (Unarmed)
- Class C manual driver's licence for QLD
- HLTAID011- Provide First Aid (Or willing to obtain)
- HLTAID010- Provide Basic Emergency Life Support (Or willing to obtain)
- HLTAID009- Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (Or willing to obtain)
- OH&S; Construction Induction White Card (Or willing to obtain)
- Ability to successfully pass a National Police and Criminal history check
- Ability to successfully pass a Full medical and fitness assessment, including a Drug & Alcohol screening
- Must currently live within a 600 km radius of Blackwater.
- Master license: 41299
