The Community Liaison Officer-Hearing will work with the NT hearing services team to promote valuable hearing and language development in babies and inform parents about how to keep baby’s ears strong. This position performs a critical community connection role, linking families to hearing health services and information to raise awareness and educate communities that hearing loss in children is preventable. This role works to support early identification, intervention and management of ear disease to help reduce long term impacts leading to hearing loss. This position is required to travel to remote communities for up to 5 days at a time.
