Receptionist – Oakleigh Area

Casual to Permanent | $40 per hour + super | 21 hours per week

Local Workforce Hire is currently seeking a friendly, professional and reliable Receptionist to join a well-established panel beating business in the Oakleigh area .

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is confident using computers and can remain calm and organised in a busy customer-facing environment.

The Role

Working Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 9.00am to 4.00pm , you will be the first point of contact for customers and play an important role in supporting the day-to-day administration of the business.

Your duties will include:

- Greeting customers in a warm and professional manner
- Answering incoming telephone calls, screening calls and taking messages
- Searching for vehicle parts and information online
- General administration duties
- Using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
- Using internet browsers including Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome
- Assisting with other office duties as required




- Full training will be provided on the company's systems and processes

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

- Friendly, warm and welcoming
- Patient and understanding when dealing with customers
- Comfortable communicating with elderly and non-English speaking customers
- Confident dealing with multiple tasks at once
- Calm and professional under pressure
- Reliable and punctual
- Well presented and skilled
- Computer literate with good Microsoft Office skills
- Able to work independently while also being part of a team

Hours & Pay

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday
9.00am – 4.00pm
21 hours per week
$40 per hour + super
Approx. $840 gross per week + super

The position will initially be offered on a casual basis with the opportunity to become permanent . Some adjustment to the working days/hours may be required.
