Based at Port Lincoln – the nation's seafood capital – the ABC Eyre Peninsula team works with a range of communities to tell their stories on radio, social media, TV, and online.
n
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a talented and experienced Presenter to plan, produce and deliver a program that's entertaining, engaging, and essential listening for the Eyre Peninsula community.
n
From chasing breaking news to researching stories, producing outside broadcasts, and managing talkback and guests, no two days in this role are the same. You'll provide in-studio support on a part-time basis from Monday to Friday, 6am-10am. Flexibility to work remotely on occasion to support other programs in different locations may be required.

The Job
n
Heavily guided by the Presenter and the Editor, you will:
n
n
- Create content for multiple platforms to engage local, state and national audiences.
n
- Provide in-studio production support and manage talk-back callers and guests
n
- Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan and communicate with relevant stakeholders as required.
n
- Help identify and develop local content that can be shared with other content teams in News and across the ABC on multiple platforms.

About You
n
You will be working closely with the experienced and very capable Port Lincoln Presenter in a collaborative way,
and your valued contributions will provide you with solid experience in Radio and production.
n
