The Opportunity

n

Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia is seeking a customer-focused Product Support Representative to join our Tasmanian team based at our Launceston branch.

n

Supporting customers across your assigned territory, you'll work closely with equipment owners to maximise machine performance, identify maintenance opportunities, and deliver proactive parts and service solutions. This is a field-based role focused on building strong customer relationships, improving fleet reliability, and helping customers keep their equipment operating at its best.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Conduct onsite machine inspections and fleet assessments
n
- Identify maintenance, repair and component replacement opportunities
n
- Prepare proactive parts and service quotations
n
- Complete machine health inspections and detailed condition reports by use of Company provided systems and tools
n
- Support service agreement opportunities and renewals
n
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships within your territory
n
- Work closely with Sales, Parts and Service teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
n
- Promote Hitachi aftermarket solutions and value-added services
n
- Maintaining the CRM system to reflect activities performed within your region
n

About You

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Intermediate to Advanced level trade qualification within the Construction and or Mining industry
n
- Solid working knowledge of construction, earthmoving or mobile plant equipment application
n
- Ability to identify and communicate maintenance and repair requirements
n




- Excellent relationship-building and customer service skills
n
- Strong organisational abilities
n
- Basic to Intermediate computer skills and experience using CRM systems
n
- Ability to work autonomously and travel throughout your designated region as required
n
