About the role
n
As a Patient Support Officer at Perth Radiological Clinic, you will play a critical front-line role in helping patients navigate their care experience. Based in our centralised call centre, you will handle high-volume inbound calls, provide accurate information, and schedule appointments across a range of imaging modalities.
n
You will receive thorough training over the first 4–6 weeks and be paired with experienced team members to support your development in PRC systems and processes.
n
Your responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Answering a high volume of incoming calls (80–90 per day) from patients and addressing a wide range of enquiries
n
- Scheduling appointments accurately across multiple clinics and modalities (e.g. X-ray, MRI, Ultrasound)
n
- Providing patients with clear and detailed information on procedure preparation and billing
n
- Liaising with PRC's referrers and coordinating with Clerical and Technical Clinic staff
n
n
About you
n
You are an excellent communicator with a calm and supportive approach. You enjoy working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and are committed to delivering a seamless and positive experience for every patient.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
n
n
- Prior experience in a customer service, call centre,
or healthcare administration role
n
- Confidence in learning and navigating new systems
n
- A clear and professional phone manner with solid listening skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and task management
n
- The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders across teams
n
- Full Australian working rights
n
- A valid National Police Check (within 6 months) or willingness to obtain one
n
