Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Community Clinician 26+ to join our growing team on an ongoing full-time basis. This is a rewarding opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting adults experiencing acute episodes of mental illness, while contributing to their recovery journey.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Conduct urgent and routine mental health assessments in line with clinical standards
n
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic and pharmacological interventions
n
- Develop and implement recovery-focused care plans in collaboration with consumers and carers
n
- Provide individual, group and family-based interventions
n
- Monitor mental and physical health and support holistic care
n
- Facilitate access to appropriate internal and external services
n
- Undertake risk assessment, safety planning and discharge planning
n
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and data integrity
n
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement and clinical governance activities
n

About you
n
You are an experienced and compassionate clinician who is committed to recovery-oriented practice and delivering high-quality mental health care. You bring strong clinical skills, sound judgement, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

You will also have
n
n
- Registration/qualification in one of the following:
n
- Nursing (with mental health qualification) – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
n
- Social Work (eligible for AASW membership)
n
- Psychology – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
n
- Occupational Therapy – registered with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
n
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a mental health setting
n
- Strong knowledge of mental health legislation, standards and frameworks
n
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills
n
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
n
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
n
