We currently have a fantastic opportunity for multiple General Labourer/Operators to join our multi-award-winning organisation!
n
Reporting to the allocated Team Leader within the Infrastructure Delivery department, the General Labourer/Operator will work as part of a team involved in road/civil construction and maintenance works, responsible for performing general labouring duties, undertaking traffic control duties, using small items of plant and relieving in plant operations when required.
n
Key Accountabilities include:
n
n
- Working as part of a team involved in road/civil construction and maintenance works
n
- Undertaking labouring and traffic control duties
n
- Operating small items of plant as required
n
- Actively participating in team site inspection and toolbox meetings
n
- Satisfactorily completing works within nominated timeframes
n
- Completion of standard forms and reports (electronic and paper based) such as timesheets, leave forms, plant sheet entries and WHS forms
n
n

About You:
n
To be successful in this role, you should possess:
n
n
- Certificate III in Civil Construction or Certificate III in Plant Operations (desirable), or relevant experience in civil construction or plant operations.
n
- Traffic Controller and Implement Traffic Management Plan certification or be willing to obtain.
n
- Current Construction Induction Card.
n
- Current Driver License class C, MR will be looked on favorably.
n
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Work Health and Safety in particular the understanding of the role of Protected Work Method Statements and experience in assisting in their preparation.
n
- Physical ability to undertake labouring duties.
n
n
