Job Title: Systems & Network Engineer (On-Site)
n Location: North Sydney, NSW
n Salary: Up to $120k + Super
n Type: Permanent (On-site, 5 days per week)
n Eligibility: Permanent Resident / Citizen only (No sponsorship or relocation offered)

About the Role

n

I am seeking a hands-on Systems & Network Engineerwith experience working in an MSP, who can balance technical expertise with strong client engagement skills. This is a client-facing role where you'll be the trusted technical advisor, delivering solutions across servers, networks, firewalls, and security systems, while also ensuring a seamless client experience.
n If you enjoy solving complex technical problems, thrive in customer-facing environments, and want to work across diverse projects, this role will give you both technical variety and the opportunity to build long-term client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Act as the first point of contact and trusted advisor for client IT needs.
n
- Design, configure, and maintain servers, networks, firewalls, and security systems.
n
- Troubleshoot complex issues across hybrid, cloud, and on-premise environments.
n
- Conduct on-site client visits for support, maintenance, and project delivery.
n
- Deliver high-quality support in line with SLAs, escalating and resolving issues quickly.
n
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to implement solutions.
n
- Document technical work, site visits, and client interactions clearly.
n
- Contribute to infrastructure and network projects, from requirements gathering to delivery.
n




- Provide training and best-practice guidance to clients and colleagues.
n
- Participate in after-hours/emergency support when required.
n

Key Skills & Experience

n

n
- 5+ years' experience in systems and network engineering.
n
- Strong knowledge of networking, servers, firewalls, and IT security.
n
- Experience with cloud, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
n
- Proficiency with ITSM/helpdesk tools (e.g., Datto Autotask).
n
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive, customer-first mindset.
n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
n
- Experience delivering on-site technical services and managing multiple priorities.
n
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
n
