Mazda with Hyundai as a secondary brand, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Technician to join our Workshop team. This is an excellent opportunity for a technician who takes pride in quality workmanship, enjoys complex diagnostics and is ready to provide technical leadership while supporting the wider workshop team.

About the Role
n
As a Senior Technician, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality servicing, maintenance and repairs across our Mazda and Hyundai vehicles, while supporting workshop performance and developing less experienced technicians.
n
You'll be responsible for:
n
n
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and complex diagnostics
n
- Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment
n
- Completing repairs to manufacturer standards and specifications
n
- Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and identifying additional repairs
n
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring to fellow Technicians
n
- Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues
n
- Maintaining accurate job cards and service documentation
n
- Working efficiently to meet workshop productivity and quality targets
n
- Supporting a protected, clean and professional workshop setting
n
- Collaborating with Service Advisors and the wider dealership team
n
n
About You
n
We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technician who can lead by example and is passionate about delivering exceptional workmanship.
n
You'll bring:

- Relevant automotive trade qualification
n
- Significant experience as an Automotive Technician
n
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic capabilities
n
- Advanced fault-finding and problem-solving skills
n
- Ability to mentor and support less experienced Technicians
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
n
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
n
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Current Australian Driver Licence
n
- Mazda, Hyundai or Japanese/Korean vehicle experience is highly regarded
n
