About the role

n

PhoenixDX is looking for two OutSystems Technical Leads to take ownership of technical delivery across our squads. You'll set the architecture, hold the line on code quality, and lead a team building on OutSystems with AI tools woven into day-to-day work, because they're changing how quickly and how well we can deliver for clients.

Key responsibilities

n

Lead end-to-end technical delivery of complex, mission-critical OutSystems solutions across large-scale programmes, from architecture through to go-live

n

Bring AI tools into the SDLC, across requirements, design, build, testing and review, to lift speed and quality

n

Set and maintain engineering standards and governance across your squad

n

Mentor developers and help them build AI-augmented development skills

n

Act as the technical point of contact for clients, translating business needs into solid architecture

n

Support pre-sales and discovery activities, including scoping, estimates and roadmaps

n

Improve our delivery methodology over time, balancing speed with security and governance

n

Support PhoenixDX's OutSystems community, including a path toward MVP recognition if that's a goal of yours

n

About you

n

Strong OutSystems experience (Reactive Web and/or Mobile), with current certification in Reactive Web, Mobile, Architecture, Tech Lead or equivalent

n

Experience leading or mentoring a technical team across large-scale programmes

n

Solid architecture and integration experience, including APIs and cloud (AWS preferred)

n

Hands‐on experience with AI development tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot or ChatGPT

n





Comfortable working directly with clients and managing stakeholders

n

An interest in improving how you build software, not just maintaining what you already know

n

Eligible to work in Australia and able to obtain an Australian Government Baseline security clearance (Australian Citizen)

n

Nice to have

n

OutSystems MVP status, or working toward it

n

Experience with agentic AI, conversational AI or automation projects

n

Experience in regulated, government or large enterprise environments

n

Customer-centred: you think in terms of business outcomes, not just features, and can translate technical ideas into language non‐technical stakeholders understand

n

A technical leader: you enjoy digging into architecture and hard problems, but know when to step back, delegate and create space for others to grow
