Business Services Manager / Supervisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Business Services Manager / Supervisor to join a highly regarded and established Chartered Accounting practice experiencing continued growth South of Adelaide.

n

The firm works with a diverse portfolio of quality clients across a range of industries and entity structures, providing a broad mix of accounting, taxation and advisory services.

n

The Opportunity

n

Reporting directly to the Tax & Business Services Partner, you will play an important role within the practice, managing your own portfolio while providing leadership and technical guidance to a small team.

n

This is a hands-on position that combines client management, accounting and tax, team leadership and business advisory work.

n

You'll have the opportunity to work closely with Partners and clients, contribute ideas and play a genuine role in the ongoing development of the practice.

n

Key responsibilities will include:

n

- Managing a portfolio of clients and developing strong, long-term relationships
n
- Preparing and reviewing financial statements and tax returns across a variety of entity structures
n
- Reviewing work completed by accountants and providing technical guidance
n
- Supporting, mentoring and developing junior and intermediate team members
n




- Managing workflow and ensuring client work is completed accurately and on time
n
- Providing accounting, taxation and business advisory support
n
- Working closely with the Partner on complex client matters and projects
n
- Identifying opportunities to provide additional value and services to clients
n
- Contributing to business development and the continued growth of the practice
n
- Assisting with more complex compliance and advisory assignments when required
n

About You

n

This position would suit an experienced Senior Accountant/ Supervisor looking to step into a manager role.

n

You will ideally have:

n

n
- Several years of experience within Australian public practice
n
- CA or CPA qualification
n
- Strong experience across Tax and Business Services
n




- Experience preparing and reviewing financial accounts and tax returns
n
- The ability to manage client relationships independently
n
- Previous experience mentoring or supervising accounting professionals
n
- Solid technical accounting and taxation knowledge
n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- A commercial approach to client service
n
- The confidence to work directly with clients and Partners
n
