Trades Assistant - Position Details

n

We're growing fast—and we're looking for a hands-on, reliable Trades Assistant to support our Facilities & Engineering team across our Brisbane sites. If you enjoy working with tools, fixing things, and being part of a safety-first team—this is a great prospect to step into a long-term career in maintenance and engineering.

What you'll be doing

n

n
- Assist tradespeople with maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
n
- Respond to breakdowns and help get operations back up and running
n
- Support preventative maintenance to reduce downtime
n
- Carry out basic repair work and servicing tasks
n
- Work across warehouse facilities and equipment
n
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop
n
- Report faults and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
n

What we're looking for

n

n
- 1–2 years' experience in a similar hands-on role
n
- Experience using power tools or in mechanical/electrical environments
n
- Valid Driver's Licence
n
- Forklift Licence (required)
n
- EWP / Boom Licence (required)
n




- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or in a team
n
- Positive, can-do attitude with a focus on safety
n
- Bonus points if you have Trade qualification (or working towards one)
n
- Experience in warehouse or industrial environments
n
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
