About the Opportunity

An established food manufacturing operation in Tullamarine is currently looking to bring on a skilled Maintenance Fitter. This role offers stable, long-term employment on day shift, with consistent overtime and a clean, safety-focused workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Carry out routine servicing and reactive maintenance on production equipment
- Identify mechanical faults and implement effective repairs
- Work closely with production teams to keep operations running efficiently
- Complete planned maintenance activities in line with schedules
- Ensure all work complies with food safety and site hygiene standards
- Assist with equipment improvements and reliability initiatives

What You’ll Bring





- Trade qualification as a Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter
- Previous exposure to food manufacturing or other hygiene-controlled environments is advantageous
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Awareness of food safety practices and clean work environments
- Ability to manage your workload independently while contributing to a team
- Reliable attitude with clear communication skills

- Permanent, full-time position
- $58 - 65 per hour
