About Our Client

Our client is a leading supplier of quarry products and construction materials, providing quality aggregates including blue metal, sand and other products to concrete batch plants and construction operations. They are seeking a reliable and safety-focused HR or HC Truck Driver to join their transport team. This is an ongoing opportunity suited to an experienced commercial driver who is comfortable with early morning starts, extended working days and a Monday to Saturday roster.

What you will be Doing

The successful candidate will operate an HR or HC truck to safely and efficiently transport quarry products from the quarry to concrete batch plants. This is a hands-on driving position suited to an experienced commercial driver who is reliable, safety-focused and capable of working extended hours.

Duties include:

- Operating an HR or HC truck to transport blue metal, sand and other quarry products
- Completing deliveries from the quarry to concrete batch plants safely and within required timeframes
- Conducting daily pre-start inspections and vehicle safety checks
- Loading and unloading quarry materials in accordance with site procedures
- Ensuring all loads are secured and transported safely at all times
- Maintaining compliance with fatigue management, road transport and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements
- Communicating effectively with dispatch, batch plant operators and quarry personnel
- Completing delivery dockets and other required transport documentation
- Maintaining a clean and presentable vehicle
- Reporting vehicle faults, defects and maintenance requirements promptly
- Following all company policies, site safety procedures and traffic management requirements




- Undertaking general transport and site duties as required

What you will need

- Current HR or HC Truck Licence essential
- Previous experience operating HR or HC vehicles in a commercial driving environment
- Completion of a Lone Fatigue Driver Course mandatory
- Strong understanding of fatigue management, road transport and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Ability to complete daily pre-starts and vehicle safety checks
- Ability to safely load, secure and transport quarry products
- Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to early morning starts
- Ability to work 1014 hour days Monday to Friday
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with quarry and concrete batch plant personnel
