What you'll be doing

- Work in an agile team where your ability to switch context, weigh up trade offs, and drive engaging conversations with senior executives, non-technical stakeholders and peer engineers will be essential
- Work with others to understand problems, break through them, define solutions and build
- Build new products and new solutions in data
- Test, validate and measure success and payback
- Accelerate your engineering skills in Data & AI

What you'll bring




This is a mid level role, so we're not expecting decades of experience. What we look for:

- Years matter less than experience does, but we estimate at least 3 years engineering solutions
- Experience programming with Java, .NET or Scala is well regarded
- Experience in data engineering, having built data pipelines you've tested and validated, and ideally deployed to production (version control, CI/CD and some DevOps skills)
- Experience with cloud platforms like GCP and/or Databricks (or similar)
- A friendly attitude. This is a social role. You don't need to be the loudest in the room, but you like making friends and having a bit of fun at work
- A problem solver who likes digging into challenges, working with people at various levels of seniority to figure out and build the best solution. You've done this before and you're excited to keep doing it
- Academic background counts. If you studied something challenging or compelling, we'd love to know
- Hobbies count too. How you've practiced programming at home, got involved in sports, arts or other pursuits. We like knowing the random facts that speak to the character behind the CV
