The Role

An opportunity has become available for several Cook's to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

- Manage the plating of main meals and coordinate the production and distribution services
- Work with minimal supervision ensuring all food and beverage is prepared
- Ensure portion control, food allergy governance and therapeutic diet management is correct
- Provide ethical decision making, training and instruction to subordinate staff

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

- Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of reliable discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

- Permanent full time and permanent part time (one full time position and one part time position, 40 hours per fortnight)
- Base salary ranging from $71,568 - $75,017 per annum or $36.09 - $37.83 per hour
