Additional information:

- This role is Permanent Part-time (40hrs/fortnight)
- You will work on a rotating roster between 9:00am - 8:30pm, and 3 out of 4 weekends (both Saturday and Sunday).

Recruitment process:

About this work area

As a Sales Co-worker,



you'll help create an inspiring and seamless shopping experience for our customers. You'll combine customer interaction with hands-on store tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Approaching customers, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable home furnishing solutions.
- Actively selling the IKEA range and promoting services to enhance the customer experience.
- Keeping your area clean, well-stocked, organised and correctly priced.
- Maintaining and refreshing displays through basic visual merchandising and stock condensing.
- Replenishing stock and preparing sales spaces using safe manual handling techniques.
- Assembling products to ensure strong presentation and functionality.
- Using IKEA systems to provide accurate product information and support order placement.
- Working collaboratively with your team and other departments to deliver great results.

You're friendly, proactive, and enjoy working with people. You take pride in delivering outstanding results, bring a positive attitude to everything you do, and are comfortable balancing customer service with hands-on responsibilities. You'll thrive in this role if you have:

- A warm, approachable and confident communication style.
- A strong work ethic with the ability to take initiative and work independently.

- Good organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Comfort with physical work, including manual handling and maintaining displays.

Preferred experience:

- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or showroom sales.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Confidence in supporting sales objectives and contributing to the achievement of targets and KPIs.
