Tradewind Australia is working with a well-established K-12 Christian school in Western Sydney to recruit a Software Engineering Teacher for a permanent full-time position commencing 2027.
This is a great opportunity for a passionate teacher to deliver engaging learning across Digital Technologies, Computer Technology and Software Engineering.
The Role
The successful teacher will be responsible for teaching across the secondary years, including:
- Design and deliver engaging lessons that build student confidence and capability
- Support strong learning outcomes through positive relationships and clear classroom practice
- Work collaboratively within a supportive secondary faculty
- Contribute to the broader life and community of the College
- Actively support and model the school's Christian ethos and Biblical worldview
About You
We are looking for a teacher who:
- Is suitably qualified to teach Secondary Computing / Digital Technologies (including Stage 6 capability, ideally Software Engineering)
- Has strong curriculum knowledge and an engaging, student-centred approach
- Demonstrates effective classroom management and a commitment to wellbeing
- Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a team
- Has a genuine commitment to Christian education
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent (minimum 4-year qualification or 75% completion).
- NESA registration.
- Valid NSW Working with Children Check.
- Two referees with educational backgrounds and a Christian church reference
