Job Description:

You will take ownership of the entire social media marketing strategy for a growing entertainment business that's ready to scale. This is a high-impact role where you'll move beyond just posting content-you'll develop comprehensive marketing plans, create organic content that resonates with corporate audiences, and manage multiple social media platforms using integrated tools. You'll work directly with the business owner to translate growth goals into actionable social media strategies that drive real results.

Client Overview:

Our client is a well-established entertainment company in Australia that provides professional comedians and MCs for business events. After a period of rebuilding post-COVID, they are now experiencing growth and expanding their market presence with ambitious six-month and one-year goals.

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday, flexible schedule during the client's business hours (Australian Eastern Time, 40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

- Develop a comprehensive social media marketing plan aligned with 6-month and 1-year business growth goals
- Create and schedule organic content across multiple social media platforms
- Manage social media accounts using platforms like Agorapulse or similar social media management tools
- Strategize content that appeals to corporate clients seeking entertainment services for business events
- Monitor and optimize social media performance to maximize engagement and reach
- Collaborate directly with the business owner to align social media efforts with overall business strategy
- Stay current with social media trends and platform changes to keep content fresh and relevant
- Provide regular reporting on social media performance and campaign effectiveness

Must-Have Requirements:

- 2-5 years of recent social media marketing experience
- Proven ability to develop strategic social media marketing plans from the ground up




- Strong content creation skills with experience producing organic social media content
- Experience managing multiple social media platforms simultaneously
- Familiarity with social media management tools (experience with Agorapulse is a plus)
- Ability to work independently as part of a small, growing team
- Excellent communication skills

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

- Experience in the entertainment or events industry is a plus.
- Experience working with small businesses or startups in growth phases is beneficial.
- Experience marketing B2B services to corporate clients is an asset.
