THE TRUSTEE FOR LIM & NGUON FAMILY TRUST LIM & Nguon Pty Ltd trading as The Original Charcoal Chicken is seeking a Retail Manager to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the business. The position is responsible for managing retail operations, supervising and supporting staff, maintaining high standards of customer service, monitoring sales and stock levels, coordinating inventory, and ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety and food safety requirements. The role also contributes to business performance by improving operational efficiency, controlling costs, and supporting the achievement of sales and profitability objectives. The Retail Manager will manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the retail outlet, ensuring efficient service delivery and effective business performance. The role will manage staff, prepare and coordinate work rosters, oversee customer service, monitor sales performance, and maintain appropriate stock levels and inventory records. Responsibilities will include coordinating purchasing and deliveries, managing operating costs, minimising stock wastage, implementing operational procedures, and maintaining product quality and availability. The Retail Manager will also manage customer enquiries and complaints, ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety and hygiene requirements, and provide operational support to management to achieve business, sales and profitability objectives. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Determine the appropriate product range, stock levels, pricing and service standards based on customer demand and business requirements. • Develop and implement purchasing, marketing and promotional strategies to support sales growth and achieve business objectives.



• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure the timely procurement, delivery and quality of goods and supplies. • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stocktakes and maintain accurate records of stock, sales and financial transactions. • Prepare and monitor operational budgets, control expenditure and implement cost-effective measures to minimise wastage and improve profitability. • Promote the establishment's products and services through advertising, promotional activities and effective customer engagement. • Oversee daily sales activities, assist customers with product selection and ensure consistent standards of customer service. • Recruit, train, supervise and coordinate staff, prepare work rosters and allocate duties to maintain efficient staffing and operations. • Monitor staff performance and guide to ensure employees meet operational and customer service standards. • Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally to maintain customer satisfaction and business reputation. • Monitor daily operations and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service quality and overall business performance. • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety, food safety, hygiene and other applicable regulatory requirements. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS • AQF associate degree,
