About the role

As a Registered Nurse you’ll be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team helping to create a welcoming, professional and supportive care experience for the residents of SVCS Mitchelton. The purpose of a Registered Nurse - Clinical Partner is to ensure the provision of quality resident care through clinical nursing practice, promoting collaborative relationships amongst the health care team and maintaining a resident-focused approach to nursing across the continuum of care. All positions contribute to the provision of quality and sustainable health services within the ethos of the philosophy, mission, values and ethics of St Vincent’s Health Australia.

Things that work for us:

Currently available for a CASUAL role, with the potential to transition to a part-time permanent or fixed-term permanent position in the near future.

Available to pick any shifts like morning 6.15 am to 2.15 pm, afternoon 2.15 pm to 10.15 pm / 10.30 pm, and night 10 pm to 7 am

Most of the shifts are in Memory support Unit - thus high experience in working with Dementia clients would be an advantage





Nursing Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency is essential

Clinical nursing practice experience in an aged care facility

High level of customer service skills

Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Ability to follow directives as per care plan

Understanding of Aged Care and resident rights and responsibilities

Nationally Coordinated Police Clearance Certificate or NDIS Clearance
