The Department:
Bespoke agency, TechOne environment. Free parking!

The Role:
This APS6/EL1 financial accountant role will see you working in a bespoke agency. You'll operate reasonably autonomous in your management of the financial reporting. This is a newly created role to support the CFO as the agency navigates through a period of restructuring.

You'll be focused on technical delivery of the EOM/EOFY statements and be expected to engage broadly within the agency to build strong rapport between finance and the business lines.

They are looking for an established APS6/EL1 who has the experience and capability to lead the technical delivery of financial statements. The role is available as either a labour hire or non-ongoing contract.



You will also be supporting the CFO with finance more broadly so be prepared to pitch in wherever you are needed.

Your Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this role you must be able to demonstrate current financial accounting experience from within a Federal Government setting, you must therefore be an Australian Citizen - a Baseline clearance is mandatory for this position.

Experience of successful management and completion of a number of financial statement cycles coupled with professional qualifications (CA/CPA) will make you a front runner for this role. You must also have great communication skills and experience of leading people.
