About the work unit / facility:
Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is a Queensland Health managed aged care service at Kirwan Health Campus. The facility cares for 70 residents, including people with dementia, frailty and complex needs. Parklands provides multidisciplinary care focused on residents' rights and choices.

Competitive salary and benefits:
Generous pro rata remuneration package (based on full-time equivalent value) up to $76,468 p.a. comprising:
- Salary range: $35.22 to $38.56 p.h. (NG1-1)
- 4 to 6 weeks annual leave with 14%-17.5% loading
- 12.75% employer contribution to superannuation
- Laundry and Locality allowance
- Plus

About your opportunity:
Join Parklands RACF as an Assistant in Nursing and provide compassionate care that supports residents' needs and goals. Working under the direction of a Registered Nurse, you'll assist with activities of daily living and work with the multidisciplinary team to support residents' wellbeing.
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Aged Care, Health Service Assistant or equivalent, or completion of the first semester of a Diploma of Nursing, or completion of the first year of a Bachelor of Nursing is highly desirable
- Required to work all shifts, including an on-call roster
- This is a Vaccine Preventable Disease (VPD) risk role.
- Probation period may apply.
- Pre-employment checks will be conducted.
