Project Manager | Commercial Construction D&C; & New Build Projects up to $20M | Sydney NSW

I'm currently partnering with a highly regarded commercial builder that continues to secure a robust pipeline of work across Sydney. With several projects commencing over the coming months, they are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of commercial new build and D&C; projects valued up to $20M.

The Role

As Project Manager, you'll take responsibility for projects from early planning through to completion and handover, overseeing all commercial, contractual and delivery aspects of the build.

Projects span a range of sectors including:

- Commercial Office
- Mixed-Use Developments
- Industrial & Logistics
- Education
- Community & Government
- Refurbishment & Adaptive Reuse
- Design & Construct Projects
- Ground-Up New Builds

Working alongside experienced Site Managers and Contracts Administrators, you'll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, profitably and on programme.

Responsibilities

- Lead the successful delivery of commercial construction projects from commencement to handover.
- Develop and manage project programmes, procurement schedules and critical milestones.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
- Oversee project budgets, cost reporting and financial performance.
- Manage procurement, subcontractor engagement and contract administration activities.
- Drive programme outcomes and proactively manage project risks.
- Monitor quality, safety and compliance throughout construction.
- Coordinate project teams to achieve key delivery targets.




- Provide regular reporting to senior management and stakeholders.
- Ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

About You

- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the Australian commercial construction market.
- Demonstrated delivery of D&C; and/or new build projects up to $20M.
- Strong understanding of project planning, procurement and construction methodologies.
- Sound commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and project profitability.
- Ability to build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working closely with Site Managers, Contract Administrators and consultants.
- Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience with Procore, MS Project, HammerTech or equivalent project management systems will be highly regarded.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to project delivery.
