Radiation Safety / NORM – WA Opportunity

TEKK Group is currently seeking an experienced Radiation Safety / NORM professional for an ongoing opportunity supporting industrial and resource-sector operations in WA.

n

This position would suit someone with a background in radiation monitoring, NORM, environmental monitoring, HSE or related field-based operations.

n

The role may involve:

n

n
- Radiation and contamination monitoring
n
- Field-based inspections and surveys
n
- NORM handling and management
n
- Maintaining radiation and safety records
n
- Monitoring and maintaining equipment
n
- Sample collection and documentation
n
- Supporting site safety and compliance requirements
n
- Assisting with inductions, toolbox talks and safety activities
n
- Working alongside operational and HSE teams
n
- General reporting and administrative duties associated with field operations
n

n





Suitable candidates will have:

n

n
- Previous experience in radiation safety, NORM, mining, oil & gas or a similar industry
n
- An understanding of radiation safety principles and procedures
n
- Experience with radiation monitoring equipment Solid attention to detail and safety awareness
n
- Good communication and reporting skills
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Current WA C Class driver's licence
n
- Flexibility to work varying hours when required
n

Hourly Rate: $60 – $75 per hour

n

Rate will be dependent on experience, qualifications and project requirements.

n

This is a casual/project-based opportunity with the potential for ongoing work for the right person.
