We are currently seeking an experienced Business Improvement Lead to drive operational and asset performance improvement across a large-scale mining operation.

This is a senior Lead / Superintendent-level position requiring someone with the credibility and experience to engage, challenge and influence site leadership. Strong Asset Management, operational improvement and mining operations experience will be essential.

The Opportunity

Working closely with site leadership, Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Asset Management teams, you will identify performance improvement opportunities and lead initiatives that deliver measurable improvements across safety, reliability, productivity, cost and operational performance.

This is not simply an analytical or reporting role. We are looking for someone who can turn data into actionable insights, influence senior stakeholders and drive improvement initiatives through to sustainable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead business improvement initiatives across site operations and asset performance
- Partner with site leaders to identify, prioritise and deliver improvement opportunities
- Influence Superintendent, Manager and senior site stakeholders to drive sustainable change
- Analyse operational and asset performance to identify gaps, constraints and improvement opportunities
- Develop and implement strategies focused on reliability, productivity, cost and operational efficiency




- Work closely with Asset Management and Maintenance teams to improve equipment and asset performance
- Establish performance measures, improvement plans and governance frameworks
- Facilitate workshops, performance reviews and improvement planning sessions
- Use operational data and performance trends to support evidence-based decision making
- Track initiatives against agreed benefits and ensure improvements are embedded into business-as-usual operations
- Provide clear reporting, insights and recommendations to senior site leadership
- Coach and support teams to strengthen continuous improvement capability

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

- Demonstrated experience at Lead, Principal or Superintendent level within mining/resources
- Strong Asset Management experience
- Tier 1 mining experience highly regarded
- Demonstrated experience delivering business improvement and operational excellence initiatives
- Strong understanding of mining operations, maintenance, reliability and asset performance
- Proven ability to influence and challenge senior site leaders
- Experience delivering measurable productivity, cost or reliability improvements
- Strong analytical capability with the ability to translate data into practical business actions
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma,



continuous improvement or similar methodologies highly regarded
- Excellent facilitation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong commercial and operational acumen
- Proactive and accountable approach with the ability to drive initiatives through to completion
