The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a Rostering Systems Administrator to join a growing Workforce Systems team. Reporting to the Rostering Systems Team Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration, maintenance and optimisation of critical rostering systems. This position offers a unique blend of systems administration, user support, testing, reporting and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with Payroll, People & Culture, Finance and Technology teams, helping to ensure workforce systems operate efficiently, accurately and in compliance with organisational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administration and support of rostering systems, including user access, data maintenance and configuration updates.
- Monitor system performance, investigate issues and escalate where required.
- Conduct routine audits to maintain data accuracy and compliance with payroll and rostering rules.
- Support system upgrades, testing activities and enhancement projects.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials and user guides.
- Provide first-level support to system users, assisting with queries, reporting and troubleshooting.
- Generate workforce reports and assist with compliance, audit and enterprise agreement data requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance system performance and user experience.
About You
You are a detail-oriented and customer-focused systems professional who enjoys solving problems and supporting end users. You thrive in collaborative environments and have a genuine interest in workforce systems, rostering and payroll processes.
To be successful, you will bring:
- Experience working with rostering, workforce management or payroll systems in a support or administration capacity.
- An understanding of payroll processes, awards and enterprise agreements.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to a broad range of stakeholders.
- Experience providing user support, troubleshooting system issues and assisting with testing activities.
- Solid Excel and reporting skills.
- Previous exposure to workforce management platforms will be highly regarded.
