About the role:

You will liaise closely with the Sales team accurately compile quotes and estimates – ensuring they are competitive while also maximising profits.

The role will involve reading & interpreting plans & drawings, maintaining pricing records, utilising estimating software, creating formal quotes, liaising with & providing relevant details to Project Managers and the Sales Team.

AMDC are focused on having the “right” person join their team…..and are therefore happy to consider applications from experience Estimators…….as well as industry professionals wanting to move into an Estimating/Quoting role.

Your skills and experience:

- Ability to read & interpreting plans & drawings.
- Demonstrated understanding of pricing.
- Sound computer literacy skills with Microsoft Office) – Experience with Estimating Software and SAP will be Highly Regarded but NOT a requirement.
- Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders including Project Managers, Sales Staff and Office Support staff.
- Ability to liaise with builders, contractors, architects etc to ensure all required information is gathered to provide accurate estimates and quotes.
- Exceptional attention to detail, methodical approach and accuracy.
- Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and work autonomously.
- Highly self-motivated, committed, team focused and reliable.
