This role will see you working in a 5 hotel, supporting the culinary team and ensuring the kitchen runs smoothly. Potential for a permanent position to the right candidate.
Locations vary between Broadbeach and Surfers Paradise.
What you'll be doing
- Deep Cleaning of Kitchen Equipment
- Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen by washing, drying and storing all kitchen equipment, utensils and crockery
- Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as required
- Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients
- Adhering to all food safety and hygiene standards
- Providing excellent customer service to all kitchen staff
- Undertaking any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the kitchen
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Be able to manage for long period on your feet
- Reliable
