About the role

As the Event Sales Coordinator, you will be one of the first points of contact for clients and will play an important role in taking them from their initial enquiry through to a confirmed event.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to and manage incoming event enquiries across email and phone

- Build solid relationships with prospective and existing clients

- Conduct venue tours and confidently showcase Hillstone's spaces, food, service and possibilities

- Understand each client's needs and create tailored event proposals

- Prepare quotes, proposals, contracts and booking documentation

- Follow up enquiries and actively convert leads into confirmed events

- Work towards agreed sales and revenue targets

- Manage your own sales pipeline and ensure enquiries are followed up promptly and professionally

- Coordinate with kitchen, operations and events teams to ensure client requirements are understood

- Assist clients with event planning, room layouts, menus, timings and other requirements

About you

- Previous experience in event sales, hospitality sales, venue sales, weddings, conferences or a similar customer-facing role

- A proven ability to convert enquiries into bookings

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong sales and negotiation skills





- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through

- Excellent organisational and time-management skills

- The ability to manage multiple enquiries and deadlines at once

- A warm, professional and confident manner

- A genuine interest in creating memorable experiences for clients

- Confidence using CRM, booking and Microsoft Office systems
