ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing client-side consultancy and take responsibility for the delivery of refurbishment, fit out and capital works projects across leading tertiary education campuses throughout Sydney.

Reporting to a Project Director, you'll manage projects across the full lifecycle from planning, design and procurement through to construction, handover and close-out. You'll work directly with clients, consultants and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered to programme, budget and quality expectations.

DUTIES

- Manage the end-to-end delivery of tertiary education capital works projects
- Lead procurement, consultant engagement and tender processes
- Manage consultants, contractors and key project stakeholders
- Oversee design development, approvals and construction delivery
- Manage project programmes, budgets, risks and key milestones
- Lead project meetings, reporting and contract administration
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and project stakeholders




- Ensure projects are successfully delivered through to handover and close-out

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

- Degree qualified in Construction Management, Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or similar
- 3-6+ years' local construction or client-side project management experience
- Experience delivering fit out, refurbishment or capital works projects
- Tertiary education, education or live operational environment experience highly regarded
- Solid understanding of procurement, design management and construction delivery
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills
- Ability to independently manage projects and competing priorities
