Part time and Full time roles available in the Service Deli department working across both the Deli production area and the Sushi production area.

Both Full Time and Part time roles require 5 work days across a 7 days week, including requirements to work weekend days, public holidays, early mornings and evenings. Reliability and a excellent attitude are the number one requirements in order to be successfull for the role!

Position Summary - Service Deli Assistant

Prepares, packages, and labels meals, entrees, salads, party trays, rotisserie chicken, sliced meats, and cheeses. Prepares take-and-bake pizzas. Stocks and rotates merchandise in the display case. Maintains machinery and equipment. Provides prompt and courteous customer service to members, employees, and suppliers. Follows proper safety procedures and standards.

Position Summary - Sushi Wrapper/Assistant

Maintain current product knowledge of Fish items. Prepares, packages, and labels fish items and sushi items. Packages, wraps, seals, weighs, and labels product with automated wrapping machine. Stocks and rotates products onto table and pallets. Provides prompt and courteous customer service.

Job Duties/Essential Functions - Service Deli Assistant

• Dismantles equipment, washes, rinses and sanitises removable parts, equipment in Deli and Rotisserie rooms
• Inspects and reassembles equipment, addresses any corrective actions from the previous night
• Rework display case, filling and rotating merchandise
• Completes required department paperwork




• Cleans and sanitises work area throughout the day following sanitation standard operating procedures (SSOP)
guidelines for proper cleaning and sanitation of all equipment required by this position
• Completes and complies with 11 commandments of Quality assurance, food safety certification, department specific
training and all safety training required by warehouse, service deli and rotisserie department
• Complies with health code by following sanitation standards and maintaining proper temperatures
• Stocks and rotates supplies in cooler/freezer
• Removes rubbish from department and work areas
• Operates trah compactor and cardboard baler
• Skewers and loads chicken into rotisserie ovens
• Cooks chicken as per Standard Operating Procedure
• Packages, labels and displays chicken in hot holding cabinet
• Adheres to all departments Standard Operating Procedures
• Prepares meat, poultry, cold meat, vegetables and seafood as per Standard Operating Procedures
• Assembles platters, pizzas, sushi, salads, raw meats and other items sold in the Service Deli and Rotisserie departments
• Assists with other department of the warehouse as necessary
• Provides and ensures prompt and courteous customer service to members,



employees and vendors.

• Follows proper fish department’s general safety and sanitation procedures and standard.
• Labels merchandise and puts wrapped and labelled merchandise in display case
• Operates wrapping machine
• Follows proper department production procedures and standards for quality and consistency of finished merchandise
• Cleans and sanitises area throughout the day
• Performs duties to comply with health code
• Performs routine maintenance for machinery, equipment
• Follows Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) guidelines as it refers to proper cleaning and sanitation of all
equipment required by this position
• Completes and complies with 11 Commandments of Quality Assurance, Food Safety Certification, and all safety training
required by warehouse and Fish department
• Assists in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
• Provides and ensures prompt and courteous member service to members, employees and vendors.

Ability to operate vehicles, equipment or machinery
• Pressure washer, commercial dish washer, combination heat/steam oven, warming case, shears, wheeled racks, proofing boxes, ovens, trash compactor, cardboard baler, pallet jack, blast chiller, air hose cleaner, step ladder.
