We are seeking a reliable and mechanically minded Machine Operator to join our EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) manufacturing team in Brisbane.

This is a hands-on role operating batch pre-expanders, moulding machines and re-grind equipment, with responsibility for maintaining product quality, managing scrap levels, and supporting protected and efficient factory operations.

This is a technical operator position suited to someone who takes ownership of their machines and work standards.

Key Duties
Operate batch pre-expander to achieve consistent density on every batch
Operate moulding machines to meet daily production targets
Perform density checks and finished product load testing
Operate re-grind equipment to maintain acceptable scrap levels
Assist with cutting EPS pods to required sizes
Monitor steam systems supporting production
Ability to assist in diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment issues
Conduct regular machine maintenance and cleaning
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Complete accurate production and quality records

About You
2–5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience operating industrial machinery (EPS experience advantageous)




Robust mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of quality checks and process consistency
Reliable, safety-focused and team-oriented
Physically capable of working in a fast-paced factory environment

Experience with steam systems or boilers is advantageous but not essential.
