We want a hard‑working, straight‑talking Forklift Operator / Yard Hand who can lift, shift, sort, and keep the yard looking sharp. This is real hands‑on work at a busy metal/recycling yard — heavy lifting, robust coffee, satisfying results.

About the Work (what you’ll actually do)
Operate forklift safely and efficiently (LF license required). - Mandatory
Load and unload scrap metal and other incoming/outgoing materials.
Grade, sort and process scrap metal to keep production flowing.
Operate other plant equipment (MR/HR License required). - Mandatory
Assist customers onsite — friendly, qualified front‑line service.
Record incoming/outgoing material details accurately.
Maintain yard cleanliness and enforce OH&S; and environmental standards.

Must‑Have Skills & Certs
High Risk Work License / ticket - Forklift license (LF).
Australian Driver’s License with Manual MR or HR
Previous metal recycling experience preferred.
Ability to pass pre‑employment medical & drug/alcohol test.




Willingness to provide police background check
Solid reliability, communication, and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn, upskill and take on training.
Sound numeracy and literacy skills

This is a FULL TIME position, 40hrs/week, 7:55am to 4:25pm Mon-Fri. Pay rate starts at $32/hr, increasing $2/hr for each area of competence achieved - Forklift operation, Metal Grading, Processing, Truck Operations, up to $40/hr. Time to reach max pay rate is only restricted by your own drive, skills, and experience.
