The Prospect
We are partnering with an established hospitality group seeking emerging wine professionals to join its premium Sydney restaurants.
These opportunities are suited to passionate Junior Sommeliers, experienced Wine Waiters or polished front-of-house specialists looking to progress into a dedicated wine position.
You will work alongside experienced restaurant and beverage leaders, gaining exposure to considered wine programs, premium service and ongoing professional development.

The Role
Working closely with the Sommelier and restaurant leadership team, you will help deliver an engaging and approachable wine experience for every guest.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting guests with wine selections and food pairings
Delivering professional and personalised table service
Developing detailed knowledge of the venue’s wine list and producers
Assisting with wine storage, stock rotation and cellar organisation
Supporting stocktakes, ordering and inventory control
Preparing the restaurant and wine service areas
Sharing product knowledge with the wider front-of-house team




Participating in regular tastings and training

About You
You do not need to know everything already - we are looking for curiosity, robust service instincts and a genuine desire to build a long-term career in wine.
You will ideally have:
Experience within a quality restaurant, wine bar or premium hospitality environment
Developing knowledge of wine, particularly Italian, French or Australian regions
Confidence discussing wine with guests in an engaging and approachable way
Strong attention to detail and presentation
A willingness to learn from experienced beverage professionals
WSET or CMS certification completed or currently underway—essential
Availability across a rotating roster, including evenings and weekends
Full working rights in Australia
