We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join an established business based in the northern suburbs of Adelaide within the landscaping and construction supply industry.

This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with customers and building long-term relationships. While there is an important office-based component to the role, this position is ideal for someone who also enjoys getting out and about, visiting customers, understanding their needs and finding the right solutions.

About the Role
Working closely with the Operations and Sales teams, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, generating new business and ensuring orders and deliveries are managed smoothly from enquiry through to completion.

Your responsibilities will include:
Build and maintain relationships with current and existing customers
Respond to customer enquiries and process orders
Manage customer accounts, quotes and pricing
Follow up on leads and generate new business
Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
Visit customers to provide support and build relationships
Work with the Operations Manager to resolve customer issues
Help coordinate trucks and deliveries when required




Liaise with suppliers about materials, availability and pricing
Check invoices, orders and pricing for accuracy
Attend team meetings and provide updates on sales and customers

About You
We are looking for someone who is customer-focused, commercially minded and enjoys building genuine relationships. You will ideally have:
Previous experience in a sales or account management role
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Robust administration and organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Confidence working with numbers and calculating costs for quoting
Ability to understand logistics, deliveries and customer requirements
Proactive approach to following up opportunities and building business
Previous on-road sales or customer service experience will be highly regarded
A current Police Check or willingness to obtain one
