About the role

We are a new Malatang (Hotpot) restaurant in Melbourne's South-East area, looking for enthusiastic and reliable team members to join us as we grow. We are hiring for two positions: Kitchen All-Rounder (full time, approximately 45 hours per week and part time) and Front of House (full time, approximately 45 hours per week and part time).

Key responsibilities

Kitchen All-Rounder:
Food preparation
Working at the boiler/cooking station
Cooler and freezer organisation
Stock rotation and maintaining food quality
General kitchen cleaning and hygiene
Following food safety and workplace procedures
Supporting the kitchen team during busy periods

Front of House:
Greeting and welcoming customers
Seating customers and explaining how Malatang works
Providing friendly and attentive customer service
POS operation and cash handling
Maintaining a clean and organised dining area
Daily cleaning duties
Supporting the team during busy periods

About you




Minimum 1 year of experience in kitchen or front of house
Must be available to work Fridays and weekends
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude
Reliable, punctual and responsible
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Strong verbal communication skills
Comfortable communicating with customers and fellow team members
Willing to learn and follow our systems and procedures
