Position Description – Registered Migration Agent (Graduate / Entry Level)

We are seeking a recently registered Migration Agent to join our immigration practice. This position is suitable for a recent graduate or recently registered RMA who is looking to develop practical experience in Australian migration practice within a supportive professional environment.

The successful candidate will assist with a range of migration matters and gradually develop responsibility for files under appropriate guidance and supervision.

Key duties will include:
Assisting with preparation and lodgement of visa, sponsorship and nomination applications.
Reviewing client documents and identifying outstanding information or supporting evidence.
Conducting preliminary visa eligibility assessments and migration research.
Preparing draft correspondence, submissions, statements and document checklists.
Assisting with employer-sponsored, skilled, partner, student, visitor and other visa matters.
Responding to client enquiries and providing updates regarding application progress.




Assisting with Department of Home Affairs correspondence and requests for further information.
Maintaining accurate client files, case notes, deadlines and document records.
Keeping up to date with migration legislation, policy and procedural changes.
Working closely with senior staff on more complex migration matters.
Developing practical knowledge of professional obligations and positive migration practice.

Essential requirements: Applicants must hold current registration with OMARA as a Registered Migration Agent. Recent graduates and newly registered agents are encouraged to apply. Previous migration industry experience is not essential.

The ideal candidate will have solid written communication skills, attention to detail, good organisational skills, a willingness to learn, and a genuine interest in developing a career in Australian migration practice.

Pay: $80,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
