Chef / Kitchen Assistant

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and motivated Chef / Kitchen Assistant to join our hospitality team.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards
Assist with food preparation, including chopping, portioning and plating
Support the chef during busy service periods
Maintain a clean, organised and protected kitchen
Assist with washing dishes and cleaning kitchen equipment when required
Assist with stock rotation, storage and deliveries
Maintain food quality and minimise food waste
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
Work effectively as part of a team

Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant commercial kitchen experience
Previous experience as a Chef or Kitchen Assistant
Good knowledge of food preparation and kitchen procedures




Understanding of food hygiene and safety requirements
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy services
Reliable, punctual and well organised
Positive attitude and robust work ethic
Valuable teamwork and communication skills
Availability to work evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
