We are seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Kingfishers Cafe & Restaurant in Toowoomba, QLD. As a full-time member of our vibrant kitchen, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our customers. Service for breakfast & lunch.
What you'll be doing
Prepare and cook a variety of high-quality dishes, focusing on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients
Ensure all dishes are presented to the highest standard, adhering to our brand guidelines
Collaborate with the other chefs to develop new menu items and improve existing ones
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations
Mentor and train junior kitchen staff to uphold our culinary standards
What we're looking for
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Chef in a quick-paced,
high-quality restaurant environment
Solid working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and presentation
Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
Passion for creating delicious, visually appealing dishes
Qualifications in Commercial Cookery or equivalent

Remuneration: Salary to be reviewed in the first quarter.
Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
